Which type of plant tissue is involved in physiological processes like photosynthesis, storage, and support? (2 points)dermal tissue ground tissue meristematic tissue vascular tissue
ground tissue for storage, which you know is referring to the roots. they are important place for starch storage. Meristematic tissue are the embryo cells of a plant, they have a great capacity for division and are responsible for the growth of the plant as well as for cells for later differentiation. (totipotent cells) dermal tissue as in any other organism is the outer cover, it has an epidermis and under it the parenchyma cells, analogous to our conective tissue. on the surface of epidermis there is a layer of cuticle, its a wax kind of layer that helps avoid the loss of water. For support culd be the vascular tissue, it goes through all of the plant. there are two kinds: xylem for water transport from roots to leaves and phloem for nutrients transport from leaves to all the rest of the plant. but the ultimate responsible for support are the cell walls made up of cellulose. The plant cell wall has three sublayers, in each one the direction of cellullose is different, so the result is what we see in plants, flexible but strong.
so which one is it?
