write the slope-intercept for the line with slope -1/2 and y intercept (0,3) and graph the line.

Directrix (directrix):

slope-intercept form of a line y = mx + b y = (-1/2)x + 3 Think of the -1/2 slope as 1/(-2). I'm going with (-1/2). slope of (-1/2) means for every 2 unit increase in x, there is a 1 unit DEcrease in y. To graph, locate the y-intercept, go over 2 and down 1 and place a point. Repeat from there. See graph.
