How would you write a recommendation letter for a student? Help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are the teacher or tutor for this student? You would write honestly about that student's strong points. If you feel this student is not a very strong student, you would not be writing this letter. That's assuming the letter has to do with academics.

Yea, it has do to with academics. Suppose you're a teacher. How would be the letter? Like, I know what to say but I don't know how to start or finish it. How people usually do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I've never written one, but I would just set it up in business format and write what I know about that person's accomplishments. Let me scout online for some examples . . .
