What is the equation of this circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Directrix (directrix):

The diameter appears to be on the x-axis. Does the circle cut the x-axis at -1 and 3? I'm not sure.

Directrix (directrix):

If you'll check those numbers, I think I know where the center is. Then, we'll count up and down for the radius and be almost done.

Directrix (directrix):

(x - h ) ^2 + (y - k) ^2 = r^2 I have the general form for a circle ready. Just waiting for you to count. Hope your diagram is bigger than mine. :)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The center is (1,0) and the radius is 2 so the equation is : \[(x-1)^2+(y-0)^2=4\]

Okay so I got no notification at all but thank you both. I actually did it on my own after almost 20 minutes of individual research. I'm bad at geometry. Anyway, thanks!
