What are some examples from the 1920s that support the belief that the age was full of prosperity and fun? Was this belief accurate?

some examples include flappers, more parties, dancing, music, jazz age

As well the the examples above this era was known as the gilded age. This means that only the positive "gold" things of society were shown. Examples also include the rise in the upper class and new inventions.
