Differ DEPENDENT & INDEPENDENT sources abstraction!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sources of what? In what context is this question being asked?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Independent Sources are voltage sources or current sources which have a constant voltage or constant current. And this doesn't depend on any variable of the circuit. Dependent sources are voltage sources or current sources which depends on either a voltage or a current in the circuit. There are several types of dependent sources: 1) Voltage Controlled Voltage source (VCVS) 2) Current Controlled Voltage source(CCVS) 3) Voltage Controlled Current source (VCCS) 4) Current Controlled Current source(CCCS)
