Choose all correct answers. Which of the following ordered pairs are solutions of the system, y > 3 and y < 2x + 2 A. (0, 2) B. (2, 4) C. (3, 5) D. (-2, 0)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Did you plug them in to see which ones makes the sentences true?

Yes and i got confused

OpenStudy (callisto):

condition 1: y > 3 take a look at the value y in each case , then you can reject 2 answers condition 2 : y < 2x + 2 put the x value into 2x + 2, see if it is greater than or smaller than the corresponding y value of the coordinate you choose. If it is greater than, then it does not satisfy the inequality and you need to reject the answer. I guess I have answered similar question asked by you today. Please try to do this one and point out what you're confused so that we can help. Thank you
