Calculate the perimeter of the triangle below.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mayliz):

3/4+(3/5)*2=39/20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply add them together. The dashes in the two sides mean they are congruent. ie, the same.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Perimeter of a triangle is the sum of all the three sides We are given 1 side as \(3\frac{1}{4}\) and another as \(3\frac{1}{5}\) the third side is given equal to the second side. So the third side is of length \(3\frac{1}{5}\) So the \[Perimeter =3\frac{1}{4}+3\frac{1}{5}+3\frac{1}{5}\] We get now \[Perimeter= \frac{3}{4}+\frac{3}{5}+\frac{3}{5}\] Adding the three will give us the Perimeter, can you do it @lucyfinch
