This a biology question. It would be cool if you could post further bio questions in the biology group. http://openstudy.com/study?login#/groups/Biology. It would also be cool if, in addition to posting just the problem and waiting for it to be answered, you explained what about it you don't understand and would like help with. Clear? In the case of antibiotics, they specifically inhibit processes unique to one or more species of bacteria. Often these processes have to do with production of the bacterial cell walls which eukaryotes (like people) don't have.
