Well, first of all - well played there @ash2326 ;). Secondly, since we have gotten rid of users' ability to delete questions, we needed to allow them to edit them in case they needed to change anything. As for mods, this allows them to fix problems when they notice them, so it's more likely that they will be answered.

giving people the option to edit their own questions sounds good, i just thought it a bit strange that anyone else would be able to edit it as well

and as far as i can tell, you can only edit your edits; and not the actual question itself after its been edited by and outside editor ..

Well amistre I seen a question that was a math question that was inappropriate so instead of deleting it, I can change that one word
