What was civilization like for Chinese women? Provide two examples.

This generally applies to all civilizations, but the women in rich families had it the worst in terms of gender equality/rights.
That being said, for Chinese women born into /rich/ families, life was pretty "bad," feet-binding was quite popular back then (do a quick google if you want to learn more), and because of the foot binding, they were usually confined to their house or area around it. For women in poor families, they couldn't afford to have people not working, so women worked alongside men in doing daily labor.
