determine whether the given quadratic function has a min or max value then find the min or max value and determine where it occurs i really don't understand this one

well, the first issue is the lack of given quadratic functions in this problem... its worrying that they'd assert its existence but not provide it. :[ if the leading coefficient is negative (in standard form), then it has a max at its vertex, and if its positive then it has a min at the vertex
