12, a cube has 6 sides ,2 diagonals from EACH corner not sides 2x6=12= answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But what about the diagonals fom corner to corner. there are 12 surface diagonals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see wat u are talking about a cube =6 sides , 2 diagonals from each corner, 6 faces x 2corners = 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but diagonal corners|dw:1332294529825:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a cube has 8 corners and 2 diagonals from each corner, so 8*2=16, Am i wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and no. yes because u did the wrong multiplication. no because it is a common mistake, u did 8 x 2 when u where to do 6 x 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):
