2. Suppose that the amount of algae in a pond doubles every 4 hours. If the pond initially contains 90 pounds of algae, how much algae will be in the pond after 12 hours?

after 4 hoyrs it will double so after 8 hours it becomes 180 and after another 4 i.e. 12 hrs it will become 360

i think that answer is not correct.after 4 hrs it will become as 180.next 4 hrs 360.i.e after 8 hrs.so after 12 hrs it will become as 720?am i wrong?
