What is the sum of 2y/y+5 and 10/y+5 expressed in simplest form?

I don't understand how those guys got that answer...since both have the same denominator, you can add em both. giving you 2y+10 / y+5 2y+10 can be factored into 2(y+5) so 2(y+5)/y+5 the y+5 cancels giving you just 2
