Is -1/2 perpendicular to -2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haven't brushed up on my algebra very much.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/2 is not perpendicular to anything. But, a line with slope -1/2 is perpendicular to another line with slope 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m1*m2=-1 if the two lines are perpendicular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm talking about -2 and -1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know you are. I gave you the ones that are perpendicular. Your pair is therefore not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright.
