What are three ways in which twins can be different ages???
I can think of two ways: 1. one is born on the 31st of December, another is born on January the first 2. one is born on the 28th of Febuary, another is born on the 29th of Febuary ( leap year) this one is not as thoughful => 3. one born on the last day of a month and the other is born on the first day of the month ( the age gap is not much of a difference)
3.) The one of the twin died early.
So, what are the three ways?
the three i was thinking of are 2. à la yociyoci 3) à la rlsadiz the other way i was thinking of is when one twin is traveling close to the speed of light for an extended period of time, (relativistic time dilation) but i am not sure which twin would have aged more
The twin who didn't travel would age more, I think. (Nice thought, it didn't even cross my mind :/). What does the other two mean? à la yociyoci? à la rlsadiz?
i was just using some french to be brief translate: "á la" to "as in the style or manner of " yociyoci and rlsadiz are the people have provided the correct answers
@UnkleRhaukus I was once faced with this riddle before. 3) Baby 1 was born on a ship before the dateline on December 31, and then the ship crossed the dateline. That is when Baby 2 was born.
