so if the slope is undefined the x intercept is -5 how do i find the y

OpenStudy (experimentx):

the slope is undefined means it a vertical line, x intercept is -5 means it's a vertical line passing through -5, x is constant for every y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i write that

OpenStudy (experimentx):

x+5=0 is your equation, it's true for every 'y'. what exactly are you trying to find

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im also trying to get the x and y intercepts from the earlier equation.. i figured out the slope but where do i go from here

OpenStudy (experimentx):

the x-intercept is -5, since your slope is infinity(undefined) ... you do not have y-intercept, i.e. it's a line parallel to y-axis from x=-5

duhhh...

thanks
