The solutions to quadratic equations are also called zeros in math. Please explain why they are called zeros and show an example.

because when you put them in original equation , u will get zero like eg x^2 +7x+6 the zero's of this eq are (x+6)(x+1) means -1 and -6 , hence put this in equation and tell me that do u get zero or not

It's what the x-values are going to be when y=0. (x+2)(x+3). x=-2 and -3 when y =0. Therefore, (-3,0) (-2,0)
