combine like terms:
$$ 3b^4-b^4-7b^3+6b^2-4b+4b $$
$$ 2b^4-7b^3+6b^2$$

so when you simplify there is no =

the 3b^4 and the -b^4  make 2b^4

usually no  = sign here.  you didn't start with one either :)
