If a 30N net force acts on a 20kg object for 5s how fast will the object be moving at the time and how far will it have traveled?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

120

Could you explain? Please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use \[x(t) = x _{i} + v_{i}*t + 1/2*a*t^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x_{i}\] is the initial position, \[v_{i}\] is the initial velocity. Use f=m*a to find a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The above gives you the distance once you have a (acceleration), that's what x is. Then use v(t) = v_initial + t*a to find the velocity at time t with constant acceleration 'a'
