f(x) is the y axis. When I look at the graph where x=0, I see y= 2 1/2. So plug in zero for the x value and solve each of the equations. When you get an answer of 2 1/2, you will have found the correct answer. Or you could look at the denominators of all the equations. The asymptote of x=4 tells us that there is no solution at x=4. So plug in 4 for x in each denominator. The equation where the denominator is zero for x=4 has the asymptote of x=4.
