what france is hoping to accomplish is just that they want to be famous and riches and they want everybody in america to learn for forcement there religon
OpenStudy (anonymous):
they wanted new colonies in order to keep up with the growing colonies of England and Spain and such. They wished to use these colonies to spread Christianity and grow their economy. The Age of Exploration was know for the 3 G's: Gold Glory and God ( which explains the reasons for most every country during that time).
