6 divied by 4 over 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply 6 by the reciprocal of the denominator 4/7 which is 7/4 then 6 times 7= 42 divide by 4= 10.5 oops, it is 10.5 :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(6\div4)/7\] You can look at this as: \[6/4 \div7\] Which would be: \[6/4 \div7/1\] Which you can change by multiplying by the reciprocal of the second number \[6/4 \times1/7\] Now, multiply the tops with the tops, and the bottoms with the bottoms \[(6\times1)/(4\times7)\] 6/28 Then, finally - simplify (both the top and bottom are divisible by 2) 3/14

thats not one of the answers
