OpenStudy (anonymous):

a puck 0.03kg slides across rough ice experiencing a frictional force of 0.2 N. If it was moving at 10km/h when it hit the ice patch how long did it take to stop?

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

So the puck started moving with a speed of 10 km/hr(convert that to m/s). And it is opposed by a frictional force of 0.2 N. What deceleration(negative acceleration) will this force cause on the puck?
