then profit r(t) of the year 't' required is 1070 (since the function and reqd profit both are in thousands, we write simply 1070, and not 1,070,000)

6t2 + 3t + 440 = 1070

6t2 + 3t + 630 = 0

2t2 + t + 210 = 0

But the quadratic that we get has no real solution!! cheack the discriminant!
