how is computer science related to computer engeneering??

From my limited knowledge, computer science is most likely applied mathematics - algorithms, how to efficiently deal with data or software. Computer engineering is more hardware side such as embedded system or system kernel stuff? I could be wrong since I'm still studying, but hope it can give you a brief sense. Hopefully a good expert can answer your question soon! ;)

Hmm, Computer science deals more with the Logic parts, although they are not separate from each other, Computer engineering deals with the physical stuff. To put it simply, Computer engineering makes the electronic parts that constitute a computer, while computer science makes the software that will run and use the electronic parts. I hope i'm not explaining it wrong here, Im an Electronics student myself, we study both, Maths and programming fall into CS, while Physics/Control Theories/Electricity fall into CE. At the end you must know parts of both to truly understand how Information(zeros and ones "bits") gets manipulated by a computer.
