You can become the group moderator of any group if you are the highest level. However, we are phasing out non-official groups, so this won't be relevant for much longer. Thanks!

i suggest u delete user created groups selectively

Understood @AravindG - and we're not just going to delete them - you can still get to your group using the URL. We're just taking them off the list. So you can still invite your friends to your group whenever you want. 

So don't worry - your group will NOT be deleted ;)
