in both cases energy is released we say endo or exo by comparing the amount of energy released and absorbed like in exothermic means energy released in max amount in comparision to absorbed energy ok
now coming to ur qn during bond formation energy is releasesd but we can say the process only see the type of bond and in between whom the bond is formed same for for hybridisation ok
