do you happen to have a TI-86 or a TI-84 lay'n around? because if you have one of those you are able to solve this A LOT easier

if you have a TI-84 type the following in

4.5*10^6 / 3 * 10^ -2        and you should get the answer that i got

|dw:1332436815272:dw|when you type     4.5 * 10^6 / 3 * 10 ^ -2 you get  1500 and because this is scientific notation you must move the decimal so that the number is larger than 1 but lower than 10, so for this problem you would move the decimal over to the left 3 times
