OpenStudy (anonymous):

nooo mean is the average ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Median is 6&1 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh ok

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

arrange in chronologically ascending order.... in case of odd no. of terms there is one term at mid which is median, and otherwise, in even no. of terms it is the middle 2 terms.. 1, 5 ,6 ,8 ,10, 11, 12, 13 here 8 terms, so mdeians are 8 and 10!!

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

*medians

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sooo do u multiply?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

nah.. u just have two median values... it just means middle most values from a series of ascending terms in a pile of data.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you add the two middle numbers 8 and 10 divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so is it 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18 \[\div\] 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup
