In a recent year, the total sales at resturaunt a were 150,000 more than resturaunt B. Total sales for the two restaurants were 550,000,000. What were the sales at each store? The way I could figure to go about this is 150,000+x*x=550,000,000 is this correct if so I can easily solve this, but I am not for sure if I put

Close but it's not x*x. Its 2x. Restaurant a = x+150.000 Restaurant b =x So x+(x+150,000)=550,000,000 Which gives us 2x+150,000=550,000,000
