In the book The Help a white women named Hilly Holbrook tries passing a law allowing every white home in Jackson Mississippi to have a extra bathroom for the colored men and women working in them. Hilly is undertaking this because she assumes colored people are revolting and that if they use their personal bathrooms they could endure a disease. "A bill that requires every white home to have a separate bathroom for the colored help. I've even notified the surgeon general of mississippi to see if he'll endorse the idea. I'll pass"(Stockett 320). Hows my topic sentence and transition to CD?
the whole thing is good. you should change women to woman in your first sentence. I would avoid using the words white people or colored people because some people could take it offensively. use african american and caucasian
wow your cute. Yes i agree on what your saying but after using it multiple times it gets abused and I don't know how else I can identify African Americans without using black's?
hah thanks. and that's true. maybe colored americans?
iv used that aswell haha
well, like switch between the two. Like say african american and then colored american. and use their names if possible
Ok thanks for the help
