•Select any three characters and (A) agree or disagree with the specific goal which has been selected to characterize each person. Write each character's name and explain why the selected goal is or is not the best possible choice for describing what the character most values. •Then, (B) explain in several sentences whether each character's goal or focus changed during the course of the play. Be sure to mention the cause for the value change. Your understanding both of play details and the individual character should be evident in your response. The three characters I chose are Romeo, Juliet, and Prince Escalus.

A) Romeo's main goal is to be with Juliet. He proves this by running away and marrying her, and eventually trying to follow her to death. B) Juliet is almost the same, except she feels a little guilty for going against her father and not marrying Paris. The Prince wants to keep the peace. He also wants the Capulet's and the Montague's feud, as it is destroying life at Verona.
