OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you find the range of f(x)= sq. root of x-5 then -1 outside the sq.root

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x)=\sqrt{x+5}-1\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

find the range of sqrt(x) and subtract it all by 1 id assume

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since the +5 just shifts the "graph" left or right, it doesnt affect the y value of the ranges

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the -1 tho is independant of the x parts and affects y directly
