A. 4.5 B. 5.5 C. 5 D. 6

Where does it cross the x-axis again?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why did you ask this question?...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am totally not sure lol.. haveing trouble with this one lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt it be 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D

Why did I ask the question? To provoke thought and help her solve it herself, so she can do it again on future problems without requiring assistance. katlin95, look at the x-axis. The football starts at 0, so that's where it was first kicked. It rises to a certain height, and falls again. Look where it crosses the x-axis for a second time, and how many seconds this been. And yes it's 5 =)

sorry brain fart.. its getting late lol been doing hw all day,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@fewscrewsmissing that was aimed at katlin. it was a pretty dumb question. sorry katlin. i understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol its all good ha i agree:)

@masc1124 be careful with such statements, nothing is obvious until after we've learnt it, and it's relative to what we're studying and at what level. I'm studying engineering so I might find some questions of high-school students to be simple, whilst if I ask someone who's a level above me in their studies something I find challenging, they may feel the same. There's no "dumb questions" unless it's the same thing being asked time and time again.
