Which of the following functions has a domain of x ≥ 0? linear squaring square root cubing

Directrix (directrix):

This is a dicey and vague question. The real question in my mind is what is the mathematical background of those who write such questions. My best take on this is "square root" and that is a guess. Consider y = Square root ( x). For a real value of y, x would be greater than or equal to zero. Then, consider y = Square root ( x + 3). Here, the domain is x is greater than or equal to -3. That contradicts the previous example I wrote.
