(E)-3-phenylprop-2-enoic acid, by chemical formula do you mean the chemical precursors prior to this along with several step reactions or simply the chemical composition? if so then it's C6H5CHCHCOOH

I KNEW THAT JITNA ATTA THA MENE TRY KIYA.............SORRY
its ok anyways wat means (E) ?

OOOOOOOOO I KNOW THAT
THIS TERM IS USED IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
yea @exuras am i right?
It simply means "Trans", it's a diffrent terminology. the (E) stand for Entgegen - which means "apart". the "Cis" equilivant in this naming scheme would be (z) You can look up Entgegen-Zusammen
That which makes cinnamon so fun to cook with
Try this website https://www.emolecules.com/ or https://www.emolecules.com/cgi-bin/more?vid=480106
it would be 3-phenyl-prop-2-enoic acid
i did that just by looking at it by the way but then you have to take into consideration if it is Z or E, or cis or trans.
With the E or Z system it is just the heaviest groups attached to the alkene. E being cis and Z being trans in orientation. Cis and Trans system is just when identical groups are on one side or or one point up and the other pointing down.
just check wikipedia they can explain it
