Rewrite the polynomial expression in standard form. Write exponents using the "^" symbol. For example, x2 should be written as x^2. 0.23x - 5x4 - 0.56 + x6 - 5x3 + 2x8

there was a hint thing at the bottom that said include any missing terms but i dont know whatr exactly the missing terms are

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x^8+0x^7+x^6+0x^5-5x^4-5x^3+0x^2+0.23x-0.56

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

basically you have to write the terms of the polynomial with decreasing order of the degree of x. but suppose any x^n in between is missing in the poly, you can write it as 0 times x^n to compensate!
