If a wave has amplitude of 0.2 meters, a wavelength of 0.5 meters, and a frequency of 32 Hz, at what speed is it moving? A.6.4 m/s B.16 m/s C.32.5 m/s D.32.2 m/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

speed of wave=wavelength/time period =wavelength*frequency =0.5*32=16m/sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

speed of wave does not depend on amplitude of wave. The speed of particle of wave which depends on amplitude..think about it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 32.5 m/s
