alexis, first take out whatever is common.. here 2x is common so take it out like: (2x)(25x^2 - 64) now the part between the brackets, you will notice it is in the form of of (a^2-b^2) which equals (a+b)(a-b). so it becomes 2x((5x)^2 - 8^2) =2x(5x+8)(5x-8) and that is A. so i hope you understood it?? okay with the concept?
