Graph each system and choose two possible solutions for the system. Show All Work! Boxed Toy airplanes require 4 square feet of cardboard and boxed toy trucks require 2.5 square feet of cardboard. Write an inequality for the number of each toy you can package if you only have 180 square feet of cardboard. Let x= # of airplanes and y= # of trucks

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Let x= # of airplanes and y= # of trucks so x airplanes require 4x square feet of cardboard and y trucks require 2.5 y square feet but we have only 180 square feets of cardboard so \[4x+2.5y\le 180\] Let's plot the line 4x+2.5 y=180 for plotting the line we need two points let's put x=0 we get 2.5y=180 or y=72 so one point is (0, 72) now put y=0 we get 4x=180 we get x=45 so other point is (45,0) Let's plot the line 4x+2.5y=180
