in prophase1 u can clearly see tetrads and in metaphase1 these tetradsget align on a metaphagic plate
I think all the phases in meiosis are equally important Juz as heena said, the chromosomes become thicker so it is visible under a microscope in metaphase, it aligns in the middle of the cell, and will get separated in the later phase If you need anything specific, reply below :)
