what is Quantised Energy?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

hmm.. okay.. have you studied atomic structure?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

quantized is something that exists in units or packets... and it exists only as integral multiple of its basic unit.. like energy of a photon... it has a certain discreet value. quantised energy is generally used for photons..or any system that has energy increments in equal steps, which are an integral function of some basic unit. (but in general for planck's fundas put together).
