OpenStudy (anonymous):

A stone is dropped from a height of 300 feet. The time it takes for the stone to reach a height of h feet is given by the function t = 1√300 − h where t is the time in seconds. Identify the maximum value for the range of the function.

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

write h in terms of h, differentiate w.r.t. 't' and equate with 0 to get x where function is maximum... now put that x in the original function to get the maximum range of the original funtion!!
