OpenStudy (mphetang):

what is the difference between endarch and exarch?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pay attention to the prefixes, End - prefix for Endo which means inner/inside While Exo - prefix for Outside/outer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that answer your question?

OpenStudy (mphetang):

thank you hey!!!!yes it does

OpenStudy (mphetang):

this is in relation to the position of the central axis right, so does this imply that endarch can only be found in stems and not in roots?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think so but i have very little knowlegde about botany so i took the liberty of finding two what i consider suitable definitions. These are those two words per definition endarch (adj.) Of or relating to a xylem whose early development is toward the center. exarch (adj. Botany) Of or relating to a xylem whose early development is away from the center and toward the periphery.
