differentiate y=[(t^3)+t]/[(t^4)-2]

myininaya (myininaya):

Have you tried to use the quotient rule!?: )

myininaya (myininaya):

\[y=\frac{f}{g} (g \neq 0) => y'=\frac{f' g-f g'}{g^2}\]

myininaya (myininaya):

\[f=t^3+t =>f'=3t^2+1\] \[g=t^4-2 => g'=4t^3-0=4t^3\] Just plug in :)
