Prove: cotx/(cscx-sinx)=secx

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

this question was already answered right?

Directrix (directrix):

I don't know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I asked the same question twice :(

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

anyway...cotx/(cscx - sinx) = sinx left hand side: cosx/sinx/(1/sinx - sinx) cosx/sinx/(1 - sin^2x)/sinx cancel sinx cosx/(1- sin^2x) cosx/cos^2x 1/cosx = secx secx = secx

Directrix (directrix):

None of these explanations are clear to me but if you understand, that's all that matters. http://openstudy.com/users/blossom_red#/updates/4f6d45aee4b0772daa08286b
