Anyone know a good explanation for the Seven Bridges of Königsberg problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graph theory since it was a odd number of bridges it was not possible to cross a bridge without crossing one of them more than once. It was how the bridges was constructed that made it this way.

Thanks :D

to be more precise its on account of the odd number of bridge connection to each landmass
