I am just getting started and have installed version 2.7.2 Python on a 32bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate. The course uses version 2.5.0 of Python - will it cause me problems in the course if I use the later version of Python for my course exercises and exams?

nope.  i used 2.7.2.

  3.x has changes that will 'cause problems'
